School/Group Visits
School and Group Visits
The Parliament of the Turks and Caicos Islands welcomes school groups, civic organisations, youth groups, and community groups to learn more about Parliament and its role in the democratic process.
Visits provide an opportunity to understand how laws are made, how Members represent the people, and how Parliament supports accountability, debate, and national decision-making.
Teachers and group leaders are encouraged to arrange visits in advance so that sessions can be planned around the needs and interests of each group.
Visiting the Public Gallery
Visitors attending while Parliament is in session may be directed to the Public Gallery to observe proceedings. Visitors must remain seated, keep silent, and follow all instructions from parliamentary staff.
Mobile phones, cameras, recording devices, computers, food, and drinks are not permitted unless authorised. Visitors must not interrupt proceedings, display signs, or interfere with parliamentary business.
Additional visitor rules may be provided by the Speaker, Standing Orders, or Parliament’s visitor guidelines.
