Minister for Tourism, Agriculture Environment, Heritage, Fisheries, Maritime and Gaming
Hon. Zhavargo Jolly is the Minister of Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries and the Environment and an elected All-Island Member of the House of Parliament. He brings to public service a background in business, finance, communications, and national service, having also served in the Turks and Caicos Islands Marine Regiment.
Since assuming office, Hon. Jolly has focused on advancing a model of sustainable tourism that protects the country’s indigenous assets while strengthening its position as a premier destination. His work has emphasized improving tourism governance, enhancing the visitor experience, expanding economic opportunities for locals, and supporting the long-term development of agriculture and fisheries as part of a broader vision for national resilience.
Throughout his career, he has consistently advocated for Turks and Caicos Islanders to be placed at the center of economic progress and national decision making. He is also a strong believer in laying the groundwork for greater national self determination and, ultimately, independence.
Personal Philosophy: Turks and Caicos Islanders must not only participate in the future of these Islands, but help shape, own, and lead it.
