Charles Washington Misick, OBE

Hon. Charles Washington Misick OBE, MHA is the Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands and a long-serving public servant with extensive experience in government, finance, business, and parliamentary leadership.

Hon. Misick has served the Turks and Caicos Islands in several senior roles, including as Chief Minister, Minister of Finance, Leader of the Opposition, and Premier. Over the course of his political career, he has been involved in national decision-making, economic planning, public administration, and the development of policies aimed at strengthening the country’s growth and governance.

As Premier, Hon. Misick provides leadership to the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands and chairs Cabinet. His responsibilities include guiding national policy, representing the country locally and internationally, and working with elected officials, public officers, and community stakeholders to advance the interests of the people.

His leadership has focused on economic development, responsible governance, public sector improvement, investment, infrastructure, and creating opportunities for citizens across the islands. He is recognised for his long-standing contribution to public life and his commitment to the continued advancement of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
